Situated in the quiet rural village of Shouldham in Norfolk, East View is a modern bungalow equipped to a good standard throughout. Has an enclosed back garden, suitable and safe for both families with children or dogs. The village is home to the Kings Arms the Award winning pub (CAMRA Norfolk pub of the year 2016 & 2017) on village green. Food served daily and dogs welcome in bar. Cafe open daily on village green. Both 3 minutes walk away. A Great location for walking and cycling several public footpaths around the village and beyond. Shouldham Warren (woods) on edge of village, 15 minutes walk or 3 minutes in the car. It has cycle tracks, signed posted circular walks or just go off and explore.
A little further a field are the market towns of Downham Market and Swaffham and the historic Fishing port town of Kings Lynn all 15 minutes away. With the Queens Winter home of Sandringham a 20 minutes drive and the start of Norfolk coast and beaches of Heacham and Hunstanton 30 minutes away. If its architectural buildings and history that you are looking for East View is set equidistant from Norwich and Cambridge both about 50 minutes away by car.
Norfolk has many interesting Country Houses, gardens and attractions to visit, as well as the already mentioned Sandringham House and gardens, here are a few others all a just a short drive (10 -50 minutes depending on which property): Church Farm Visitors centre Stow Bardolph, Oxburgh Hall and gardens, Gooderstone Water gardens, Castle Rising Castle, Lyndford Hall and arboretum, Peckover House & gardens, Welney Wildlife and Wetland centre, Thetford Forest, Hawk & Owl Trust – Sculthorpe Moor Wildlife reserve, Holkham Hall and Walled gardens.The nearby Holkham Beach is famous for its use in film sets, noteably Shakespeare in love!
Norfolk is also well known for its fishing venues, here a just a few nearby: 3 different freshwater lakes 15 -20 minutes away, many rivers the nearest 15 minutes away, 2 Fly fishing lakes 20 and 30 minutes drive and the coast for beach fishing 30 minutes.
Annual events: The Royal Norfolk Show End of June. Sandringham Flower Show (Norfolks Chelsea Flower Show) the last Wednesday in July. Norfolk Food & Drink Festival September. Norfolk Restuarant fortnight end of October – early November.

Lounge: Dual aspect room with large window overlooking fields to the front. Comfortably furnished, with Smart TV and soundbar.
Bedroom 1: Two single beds, bedside tables, double wardrobe, chest of draws with mirror.
Bedroom 2: Double bed, bedside table and extensive range of mirrored wardrobes.
Bathroom: Corner shower with vanity style washbasin and toilet.
Kitchen Diner: Modern kitchen overlooking back garden with double fan oven, induction hob, combination microwave, dishwasher, fridge and small freezer and washing machine. Central table and chairs, TV, DVD player and CD player/radio.
Conservatory: Table and chairs, and bench seating. Access to garden.
Garden: Private and secure, part covered area from back door, BBQ, patio table and chairs. Outside toilet with sanitiser.
Price includes: Bedlinen, towels, electric and oil fired central heating.
Pets allowed: 2 large dogs / 3 small dogs. Please enquire.
Smoking: No smoking in bungalow please.
Children: Yes, but if too small for the beds provided, please bring own cot, high chair etc.
Change over day: Arrival after 4pm Departure by 10am.
Short breaks: Yes, please enquire.
